BioFuels Conference Starts in Hawaii, bioproducts and standards that certify sustainability are the key topics at the Biotechnology Industry Organization’s (BIO) 2010 Pacific Rim Summit on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy, today through Tuesday at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa in Honolulu.
Sessions address such forward-thinking topics as Tropical Biomass and Renewable Energy; Economic and Environmental Sustainability; and Progress in Commercialization of Algae-Based Fuels

Now in its fifth year, the Pacific Rim Summit on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy will address the latest issues in industrial biotechnology, including algae, advanced biofuels, biopolymers and bioplastics, dedicated energy crops, green chemistry, and synthetic biology.
